Finpliq is designed around least-privilege access. Business users, accountants, bookkeepers, payroll users, tax users, approvers, auditors and platform administrators are assigned roles that limit what they can see and do.

Business data is scoped to the authenticated user’s owned businesses or active memberships.
HMRC credentials, filing submissions, payroll RTI, CIS, VAT and sensitive exports require explicit permissions.
Invitations, role changes, revocations and denied access attempts are recorded for review.
Finpliq uses role-based permissions, support access limitations and administrative audit events to ensure employee access to customer data is controlled and reviewable. Platform support users do not receive unrestricted customer data access by default, and sensitive actions require additional permission checks.
